How I do whitewalls
I've always done them in the past with a brush. I center the tire on the Dremel and spin at very low speed, then apply flat white with a brush. It is not hard to do. I usually apply matte clear or dullcote to the tire first as sometimes the white paint reacts with the rubber or vinyl and stays sticky.

I did many of the whitewalls that way when I worked at MTI.

Now that there are whitewall decals available I use them if they are the correct size. I still coat the tires with a clear first to prevent any reaction..
