If my memory is accurate the Precision Miniatures Novi racing car
is only a few months senior to that Pan America Corvette they did. On a trip to Long Beach for a 1979 USGP I met with Gene Parrill and his model maker that did a lot of his releases and some day I'll even remember his name. At that time he was doing the finishing touches on Indy cars of A.J. Foyt and Gordon Johncock. If anyone remembers Lancer bodies from slot racing, he also did many of those masters. I got it. His name was Lloyd Ashbury. Great guy.
