Jacques, neat group of Nashes...Now here is my story.
When Brooklin introduced the first 1939 Nash, which was the Blue sedan,I emailed Nigel, and told him that all Nash's had bumper guards, front and rear as standard equipment, but of couse he let it go and brought out the car as is. By the way, I sent photographs of the bumper guards and details.
I thought he would correct this with the Coupe, but no dice. Now the Convertible is out and he finally added bumper guards. as should be. Not because of anything I said, or to correct the original mistake, but, I would be willing to bet that Nicola Bulgari's restoration of this car has bumper guards.
You will notice that the Western models all have bumper guards, even though the bodies are not quite right. The Brooklin bodies are a very correct in their shape. The Western, not so good, but still attractive models.
Here is where John Roberts could be of help. If one were to correct some Brroklin models, by sending for the right bumpers, can the convertible bumpers be used on the sedan and coupe. In other words, is the mounting arms the same for all three cars. Do they attach to the chassis the same. Are all measurements the same. In reality, they should. John, can you check this out? It would be a good project.
