All the cross through the padlock means is that the site uses http not https for its pages which is theoretically less secure. As long as the payment details page is PayPal’s it will be very secure as John says. Any page you enter passwords etc should have lock but if you are just browsing it is less important and many e-commerce sites out there are deemed insecure. NB Karl and I at MAR Online know well going https costs extra and takes work changing your site! We did it last year.
