Yes, this model is a '49. I was thinking that it was a '50 because
the rear quarter panels reflect the '50 model year. The '49 panel insert is larger. The two years are close but different, but the lack of front fender trim says '49. Also the badging on the tailgate is '49. The original box says 1950. It's a hybrid.
