RESULTS: how to remove bad paint from a good Corgi
Once again, thanks for everyone's input - I followed David Holcombe's advice with excellent results! A bit of Goof Off (professional strength) with Q-Tip, followed by dry Q-tip and then a wee bit of Meguiar's Clear Coat Safe Rubbing Compound - voila! Please see "before" and "after" photos the Toronado roof. Now a model that kept to the rear of my collection moves proudly forward!
