Modified Franklin Mint Skyliner, Road Champs 57 Ford
With the recent talk of the Skyliner I thought I'd post mine. I'm not a fan of fender skirts or butt warts so removed them on the Skyliners as well as lowering the ride height and doing the roof fix.
Recently there was a Road Champs 58 Pontiac posted by David Holcombe. I think some of their models are more accurate than some of the more expensive ones. All they need is some detailing to improve the look. On this 57 Ford I removed the butt wart, fixed the black dots in the headlights, and detailed the interior as well as the exterior trim.
I know my photos don't come close to what many of you post but here are a few.
