They got something wrong. The Skyliner is the retractable hard-top
with the hard folding boot behind the rear seat. The Sunliner is the conventional folding soft top with soft boot. I think they used the same casting for both, which is wrong.

The Skyliner had the fuel filler door as shown, pretty far forward on the rear flanks in order to not interfere with the top rectracting gear. I can't find a picture of a Sunliner with the fuel filler door located there or anywhere on the fender, so I'm assuming that the fuel filler was behind the license plate on the Sunliner. Note the cut-out in the rear bumper to allow the plate to fold down.

The company should have filled in the fuel filler door when going from the Skyliner to the Sunliner. At least, that's my take.
