[PICS] Hmmm. Still thinking about it.
All the pics of the Zil 114 I can find have a very much broader rear pillar, different side trim, a heavily chromed windscreen/windshield frame with much sharper corners, and flush door handles.

I did find one photo of a Zil 114 with what appear to be narrower rear pillars and the old-fashioned raised door handles, but it is a photo of a 1:24 model and I don't know how accurate it is, or whether it represents a one-off version.

But AHAH!!! ... The Gaz 14 Chaika shown below does have the correct side trim, softer-edged front screen and a somewhat narrower rear pillar (at least from the front 3/4 view). In this photo it has flush door handles, but maybe early versions didn't.

Could that be the answer?
