The gray version has been a favorite of mine since I acquired it.
I was really looking forward to adding the red one, and while it is a stunning color, well presented, and I do like it. The Dove Gray, to me, just stands out better. The far more subtle color seems to better represent the era it comes from. In the gray, the model seems to just "pop" better THAN the more garish red.
