I like this presentation, and I hope you continue. The 5 star rating system, it
seems to me, has the problem of immediacy. What is being compared? If these three are being compared with this year's Brooklins (or other modern products), then it works. But if they are being compared with the 1:43 models of years past, then it doesn't work as well. The 'P' Models Maybach Zeppelin I just finished, if compared with these modern products, would fall into the half a star range on many of these points, and my workmanship wouldn't help it much to get any higher. But by the standards of the mid-1970's? Forgive me if I'm pushing too hard, John. I see your viewpoint and I like it. But let's leave room for the fine products of the earlier years.
