No mention was made of scale. I only know of three similar replicas.
This is the 1935 Auto Union Type B Rekordwagen. Dinky Toys made one back in the late 1930s, and the casting was reissued postwar.

Minichamps issued their version in 2015, which is a replica of the car that went 320 km/h at Lucca, Italy.

Brumm also made replicas of versions with closed and open rear fender enclosures.

I doubt any of these would have been used as a basis for yours Robert. Too bad the sticker on the base was removed.
