I bought a '74 Pinto in '75; it was a pukey yellow color with matching
interior. It had the 2300 engine with 4 speed trans. The car was awesome, always reliable, fairly powerful (for a 4 banger), economical and it handled very well. I used it for business and it never let me down. Fortunately for me I was never rear-ended in it......I knew nothing of it at the time or I would have dumped it immediately.
