I always am stunned by the management team that makes such inane
but politically correct decisions. If I was a major shareholder of a company like the one George describes I would be very concerned about true ability of the people managing it. If a supervisor working for me in such a company pulled off such a stupid decision I would call that person in and order them to reverse their decision and tell the employees why. I would own it. Then that person's career would be dead-ended. In my experience such managers are spineless cowards who spend their career kissing the butt of anyone who can advance them. Generally they do this because they are without actual ability.
