Barry, I have no problem with your rational as long as
the car bought isn't purchased to flaunt the fact that you make more money than someone else and you have to brag to people with the car you drive to prove it. i mean no disrespect intended to anyone who buys the fanciest car (or house, or anything), but I'm only trying to say that I've known and dealt with people over the years who use those things to insinuate they are better than others. And that is when I have the issue with it. If you drive an elite car and you're just an average Joe who is the salt of the earth good guy, I love ya!But some of the people I've known, which also includes some family members, have used their cars, home, and other material things as a means of rubbing it in the face of others by actually saying, "Look at me, I drive this or have that and you don't". And truth be told, I'd as much run over those kind of people than respect them. Personally, I don't give a rats behind what anyone drives, and I'm happy for them if they have nice things. But just don't wave it front of me as if it were a badge of honor and you are better than me or anyone else.
