A terrible waste. I'll never understand people who just let decent
old cars sit and deteriorate. I knew a fellow years ago (a car guy) who had a really good 66 Mustang GT coupe, with the 4speed trans. He got it handed down from his father. He drove it for a couple of years then just parked it in his side yard. After many months I couldn't stand it so I approached him and tried to buy it. He refused to sell it and said many people had offered as I had. I noticed a mean smile on his face and then realized that he got some strange power trip out of leaving it to rot while frustrating people like me. The ruined car was eventually parted out several years later.
