JB's latest post reminded me of influences as a child on what were my favourite cars...
I was given a Dinky Toy Packard convertible for Christmas when I was around seven years old...mid fifties Packards have been favourites ever since. Then around the age of ten I built my first two 1:32 Revell AMT kits - 1956 Ford Sunliner and 1956 Buick Century. Again, these have been favourites ever since. Anyone else been influenced by model or toy cars from their childhood? Don't forget we rarely or never saw the real cars here in Britain.
