New Zealanders generally and more so back in the day, cars dressed up like this would usually be filed under: Shock, Horror, film at 1100 (2300)
Actually, I suspect that all these accessories were added in South Africa before the car was imported into NZ in 2004.
Back in the 1950's local guys often tarted up their rides in a similar fashion, but not necessarily as over the top as this old darling.
British Ford Zephyr, sedans and convertibles and Australian FX & FJ Holden sedans were the most common subject for this attention.
Personally, I wouldn't do this kind of thing; even to a dog I had a grudge against:)
