1978-1979. We weren't there long. The job ended up to be not worth the move so we moved back
to Woodland.

At the time, the mantra I took away from So Lake Tahoe was that 'it had the traffic of a big city with the shopping of a little town'. It seems to have improved since then. The shopping appears to be better and so was the traffic, but I think the latter may have been due to the economy of the time and may not last.

We first rented a little cabin just to the east of the Y and then bought a mobile home in a park just to the west of the Y. We left it all behind to get back 'home'.
