Ocean Liners converted to troop ships were stripped of their luxury appointments
and refitted for the basic needs of the soldiers including large bunk rooms and ablusion areas to suit military requirements. Besides if the cans were busy, then the old seafaring tradition of peeing over the side could solve the problem.
