Isdera Autobahnkurier 116i (2006) Germany.

In 2006 Eberhardt Schulz, the founder and the owner of the brand Isdera, introduced a totally new car. This time though, instead of the usual sports car designs that he built during his life, Schulz came up with a very different idea. A car that is reminiscent to the 30s in aspect and style. Even the name takes us to that period: AutobahnKurier (as in the Mercedes of that period). Streamlined body with sweeping fenders, a broadened passenger compartment from a VW Beetle and the external flexible exhaust pipes give this car a unique style.

Under the exterior work, there are two parallel coupled 5.6 V8 (w126) Mercedes-Benz engines giving 600hp. The car has all-wheel-drive, one engine is for the front-wheels, the other engine is for the rear-axle.
