PIC: So now I have decided to turn my 57 Mercury
Turnpike Cruiser into a regular 57 Mercury hardtop by using an Edsel top. As you can see the top doesn't fit very well so I have some work to do here. Then I want to remove the four headlights and make them the standard two light design. I have removed the continental kit a long time ago.
And when the work is done I want to paint it the 57 color of Sunset Orchid with the gold insert in the side cove to the taillights.
I still have the 58 Edsel Citation station wagon to finish and my model of The Bat my custom 40 Buick.
