Thanks Dick. While reading your many interesting "car found and saved"
postings I often found myself regretting not seeking out the training, skills and experience it takes to properly restore an old car deserving of such treatment. Cars are of course inanimate objects but all of my life I repeatedly forget this and find myself feeling sorry for various old "experienced" cars that have dutifully served. It used to anger me that someone would junk a perfectly good old car because the engine was tired or it needed a little body work and a paint job. It seemed oddly disrespectful to me. I know myself well enough to know I will never shake such feelings as they were present when I was a preschooler! I suspect that on this forum I am not alone. Lol.
