Correct Bob, but some V8 models were customized to the drivers taste, and sometimes that meant
discarding the V8 insignia on the headlight bar....but not Bonnie and Clyde...they loved that insignia and even wrote a letter or 3 to Henry Ford telling him how much they loved the performance of the flat head V8 cars, and I believe Henry wrote them back and thanked their praise of the car.

Notice the guns on either side of the V8 insignia.

1932 was the first year for the flat head V8, but I don't see the V8 insignia on the by BenD Lampson #46678.1
Not all 32 Fords had the V8 engine. The model B was a by Bob Jackman #46678.1.1
