Here's mine... back in the early 80's (still in HS) we intalled a 429 in a '73 MACH 1 using...
...pieces of pluming pipe we bought at the hardware store.

At that time, there were not any (now there are) conversion engine mounts for 1973 Mustangs to accept 429s. (From the factory a 1973 Mustang could not be ordered with a 429 V8).

It all actually worked pretty well. It was my friend's car and he drove it for 6 months. Four days AFTER he sold it he got a call, "What kind of **CK*** motor mounts are these?"

Auh, yeah....

Well, we were kids!
