A favourite holiday will of course include our children and the time spent
on Bintan Island, Indonesia in 2003, would top the list.
We chose Club Med there because all we needed was in the one place and the resort is well set up for families.
The trip takes a while, Auckland to Singapore and then an hour or so Ferry trip over choppy water gets you to Bintan. A week latter we returned to Singapore, stayed another few days and then the long ten hour flight back to Aotearoa/New Zealand.
Since 2012 with my eldest daughter moving with her own family to Singapore to live, we have returned to the Island State many times for much longer stays and seen the big changes there especially since our first visit, sans kids, just the two of us then in 1982.
