Clearly my inquiry has been the cause of this prickly response, John.
I dont have any interest at all in Brooklins day to day activities and even though there exists a high level of deification of the brand and it's new leader, Brooklin, like any thing else in this world can be the subject of light hearted comments and humour, they are not inherently immune from peoples comments.
I must remember now that a symbolic and notional tug of my forelock must be made when Brooklins hallowed name is ever mentioned and that of its innovative leader even in the most benign way possible.

What is regrettable here is that my inquiry into the choice of an odd scale this venerated model maker has chosen brought about a divisive reaction and one my inquiry did not deserve.
John, your usual voice of reason, something people would have expected you to provide here also in a well measured and informative response. However, on this occasion and quite unexpectedly, buried deep within your response no doubt does provide what could have been a simple and informative response to an equally simple question fairly asked, but instead what we got was an admonishment that is undeserving and uncharacteristic-we live and learn.
