The fastback styling of General Motors was into its last cycle with this Buick. The basic
body style was used in every GM make, including my '51 Chevy. The last of that style was the 1952 low end bodies used by Chevy, Pontiac, and Oldsmobile. I'm not sure if the Buick Special used this body. I still like it, even though entry into the rear seat was difficult, and viewing through the rear window from the driver's seat was not easy.

The color of the 60 Invicta suits it perfectly. The grille of the 49 detracts a bit IMO.. by Jack Dodds #49499.1
The '60 is beautiful. It has just the right amount of chrome trim and is tastefully styled. What by Steve Jakubczak #49499.1.1
