It was a great time in the early to mid 60s for this 13 year old car fanatic.
I have the absolute best memories of going into town on the 3rd week of September every year with my buddies and going from dealership showroom to showroom, checking out the incredible new cars. I did this right up until the 1973 models came out....that ended it for me.

Beautiful interior just like the '61 Caddy you posted. Interiors seem boring today. (EOM) by Steve Jakubczak #49542.1
I love this rare car. The 60s had the best trimmed out interiors! (EOM) by Jack Dodds #49542.2

What a beautiful 63 Galaxie! What a great 1:24 scale this one would have been. (EOM) by George Schire #49542.3
Very nice, even better if it had whitewalls. (EOM) by John Bono #49542.4
