Three Tootsietoys based on the real things (Well, almost. . .) PICS


Dime store toys from about 1950, give or take a few years, and none are restorations. The Buick Woody was a dream cruise but rarely seen; the Kaiser was the newest thing on the market, but few people bought their second one; and the third, from maybe 1953 or '54, seems to be a Cadillac dream car until we see that Buick grill. Hmmm.....

I like these, and I remember playing with some just like them as a kid. Good memories.
