HOW ABOUT A REAL RARE CLASSIC FROM 1942, THE DE SOTO CUSTOM CLUB COUPE W/ THE 5TH AVENUE ENSEMBLE PACKAGE OPTION. I RESTORED ONE BACK IN 1988. THE CAR CAME WITH 15 OPTIONS ALL FOR LESS THAN $500 IN THE 5TH AVE PACKAGE. THAT MENT THAT ALL EXTRA COST OPTIONS WERE STANDARD EXCEPT 2! THERE WERE APPROX. 141 BUILT IN THE SHORT BUILD YEAR OF SEPT 12TH 1941 THRU JAN 15 1942. MINE CAME FROM SANTA CLARA CAL. IT WAS PURCHASED AND DRIVEN ALL OF IT'S YEAR IN CAL.
