Overall outstanding! My only negatives was a little glue blob on the brace at the rear of the transmission and the detail painting of a couple fittings on the hoses. The fit and finish is everything you expect from Autoart and the accuracy of the period details are excellent. The level of detail would compare to cars costing $100.00 and more. The manner in how they created the look of wire mesh/screen is a neat touch. The seat harness looks like you could climb in and the injector and exhaust work is marvelous! This is a car that you can on numerous occasions and find different things to admire every time you open it up! It's definately a keeper in my collection, and the value for the dollar is fantastic!

GDay..This is my first review.I usually build 1/43, 1/24-25 kits.Saw this in the local hobby shop,so I put the Monogram 1/24 2D kit back on the shelf. The quality of 1/18 diecasts is getting to the point where it makes you think twice about the effort required to build a kit(of any scale). For the price, this is quite a good model. I'm not keen on the door gaps and on my model the front wheels don't line up(parallel tracking). The paint is a little 'orange peal'and the 66 is not straight on the rear of the car.The detail is excellent and No66 is definitly worth adding to your shelf.

What can I say here, another big winner from Auto Art.When you lift off both panels the detailing borders on the excessive! This must have been a labour of love for someone at AA, and is one of the finest racing models available at ANY price from ANY era. There really isn,t enough space here to tell you all that is good about this model, suffice it to say this is a MUST buy, if only as an example of how 1:18 scale should be done. Some of my favourite parts are things like the heat tinting of the chrome exhaust pipe exits from the perfectly detailed V-8,the silver riveting details round perspex and fuel tanks, the immaculate wiring of engine and elsewhere. The only thing I have found fault with (in reference to photos)is the rear wheel trim which should be inset further, also the wheels seem slightly overlarge. Don,t let that put you off, just get this.
